Rust Constructors is dedicated to being a world class leader in our performance in the environmental, health, and safety aspects of our projects. Our safety systems and programs exceed the requirements of OSHA in the areas of reporting, hazard recognition and analysis.
Safety is a key performance area for us. This focus on safety is transmitted from management to the operating departments, to the projects, to our supervisors, and to our craft employees and those of our subcontractors.
Our excellent safety performance allows us to pass savings on to our customers in workers' compensation costs achieved through lower modified workers' compensation rates, lower indirect costs, fewer potential litigations, and improved employee attendance.
The basic tenets of our Environmental, Health, and Safety Program are:
