The company Welding Manual, ASME Manual, and Nondestructive
Examination (NDE) Manual are issued as supporting manuals when the project scope requires them.
The Rust Constructors Welding Manual governs all self-performed welding. This manual provides excellent guidance on Company policies and procedures for welder qualification, metallurgy, and postweld heat treatment. It is supported by some 400+ Welding Procedures qualified to ASME Section IX and a variety of AWS structural Welding Procedures, that are selected and issued for the particular applications of each project.
The Rust Constructors ASME Manual provides the controls required for self-performed ASME and National Board work. We maintain the following Certificates of Authorization:
- ASME “A” Power Boiler Assembly #27,601
- ASME “PP” Boiler External Piping #27,602
- ASME “U” Unfired Pressure Vessels #27,603
- National Board “R” Repairs and Alterations #R-3891
The Rust Constructors NDE Manual provides us the option to furnish certified
NDE personnel when it is advantageous to the project.
